Freyja - lavender, jasmine, orange, & patchouli.
In Norse mythology Freyja is a powerful goddess. She is associated with love, beauty, fertility, sex, war, gold, and seiðr (magic for seeing and influencing the future).
Freyja is known for being beautiful and having long blond hair, but she is also a shapeshifter and can take on any form. She has a magical falcon feather cloak that enables her to fly and wears a glowing necklace forged by dwarves called Brísingamen. She is the epitome of feminine beauty and strength. The Norse believed half of their warriors who died in battle went her realm, Fólkvangr to live eternally in her hall.
When I blended the combination of Jasmine, Lavender, Orange, and Patchouli, the first thing that came to my mind was Freyja. The scent was beautiful, yet strong. It was feminine, but absolutely masculine at the same time. It has quickly become a favorite.
There are some great benefits to the plants used. The scent is a sweet/earthy/woody and is specifically fantastic for sensitive or itchy skin. Jasmine soothes itching, while the patchouli is great for wound healing. The Lavender is calming and great for acne. Lavender is also moisturizing! Finally, the orange is great for clarity, radiance, and smoothness.
You will like Freyja for its healing properties, but you will just love this for its scent! It is divine.
