How my journey began

I began this journey for my child.

I watched my son suffer with eczema for years. Steroid shots, creams, strange diets…I tried everything. I was heartbroken. My background is in education. I taught U.S. history, World History, Government, and Economics. One week, when I was teaching the Civil War I had a lightbulb moment. I googled the ingredients of my son’s commercial soap and was horrified at the list of chemicals. It was a chemical cocktail. I knew that during the 1800s we didn’t make strange chemical soap like this. Soap was more natural and simpler. I made some old fashioned soap for my son. The eczema was gone a week later. I then went “down the rabbit hole”. I began to utilize my knowledge of history to track down ancient recipes. My hobbies include desert survival and Ethnobotany (native use of local plants). I began to implement medicinal plants into my recipes. The response from friends and family was tremendous. I decided to make this my new journey.

What People Are Saying

I love this soap…no I meant it. I love it…smells awesome and doesn’t leave me feeling all coated with soap and the end of my shower. I also loved the note that came with the soap with the cool information on it! Recommend! Recommend!”

Buy multiples because you’ll be sad when you use up the first one.
