This is a very old soap. This soap recipe is based on one of the oldest I could find. This recipe is believed to have been used by the Celtic peoples of Northern Italy thousands of years ago. It’s been found in the historical record and I have made the recipe as close to the original as possible.
The technique of soap making I use is hot process. This is a very ancient technique which lends itself very well to this type of soap making.
The Sage is a bright, woody and mysterious bar. It obtains Sage, cedar, cypress, and juniper. It has an astringent, pure, sharp and woody scent. This soap also contains Bentonite clay. This soap smells like a bright thick forrest after a rain. It will take you there.
